Hi, I’m Elly Gilbert — a storyteller, connection-seeker, and proud Kentuckian. These days, I’m savoring a new season with my husband while our twin sons and daughter begin writing their own chapters. Through all of life’s changes, two things remain constant: my love for a good story and the joy of meaningful connection.
Through The Cozy Collective, I’m bringing those passions together into a space where stories, faith, and nostalgia meet.
Why Stories Matter to Me
For as long as I can remember, stories have been my compass — found in the worn pages of a beloved book, the laughter of family gatherings, or the conversations that linger long after the coffee grows cold. Stories remind us that we’re not alone, connecting us across generations and helping us make sense of life’s many seasons.
A Few Cozy Facts About Me
- Vintage Vibes: I’m a classic movie junkie (hello, Cary Grant!) and a treasure-hunter at antique shops, always looking for links between the past and present.
- Homebody HQ: My happiest moments are spent reading or writing with my snuggle squad of rescue pups (Gus, Charli, and Benny). Add a steaming cup of tea — or better yet, a nap — and I’m content.
- Timeless Themes: From Murder She Wrote or Downton Abbey marathons to heartfelt porch conversations, I believe some stories never go out of style.
