I know firsthand how challenging life can be when you’re dealing with chronic illness. As someone who has struggled with Crohn’s disease, I understand what it’s like to feel exhausted and overwhelmed by the daily struggles of life. But during those difficult moments, there’s one verse that always brings me comfort and strength: Psalm 73:26. It says, “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
These words remind me that even when my body fails me, God is always with me, providing the strength I need to keep going. He sees my struggles and is ready to offer me His love, compassion, and support. Through my battles with Crohn’s, I’ve learned how important it is to lean into His grace and let Him carry me through the hard times.
So if you’re feeling overwhelmed, know that you’re not alone. Whatever challenges you’re facing – whether it’s a chronic illness like mine, struggles at work, raising kids, or simply trying to keep your faith strong – take comfort in knowing that God is with you. Trust in His strength, hold on to His promises, and know that He will sustain you through it all.
